For whom is this course designed?
The course is designed for painters who wish to learn how to paint a portrait from a photo. It could be a personal photo or a historical portrait such as Bougeureau for example. Perfect for the student who dabbles but needs direction. Paint the portrait of your favorite person - this will show you how using the Kingslan step-by-step method. .
What will be taught on the DVD?
The student will learn how to mix flesh tones for different skin tones, how to paint each facial feature (eyes, nose, lips, ears) and hair. How to use the photo as a painting reference tool and how to use the computer as a drawing aid. You will learn how to graph a photo to create a drawing. You will learn how to use acetate to create a drawing.
