Interactive Online Class Advanced Course
For whom is this course designed?
The course is designed for advanced painters and those who wish to teach an advanced program. Great for students who started "in the middle" and need to fill in a few gaps in learning. Perfect for the student who dabbles but needs direction.
Upon submission of completed work, students will receive a certificate of completion of the course. The student may then teach this course in their local area if desired.
What will be taught during the course?
The student will learn surface preparation, proper paint application, forms, blending, mixing, glazing, shine and shadows. Projects will build on the intermediate series (not a pre-requisite) of still life & floral. The student will receive complete written lessons (as a download) and video instruction. If you have questions during the course, email and you will receive an answer within the day. There will be online group chats every other week after a new lesson is introduced.
Is there a time limit?
There is no time limit but a new lesson will be introduced every other week for 12 weeks - for a total of 6 lessons. Each lesson will range from 30-45 minutes. The student can access the lesson online at their convenience. At the end of the course, you will receive the video instruction as a DVD.
What supplies are necessary?
A complete list of surfaces and supplies can be found here. You may use your own surfaces and brand of paint.
When does it begin?
The course will begin July 28th so that you will have time to obtain supplies through our web site.
