How to Use an Ellipse Template

 Before you use an ellipse template, you must have a clear understanding on what is an ellipse. To view an ellipse, pick up a coffee cup. Look straight down on the round opening – it is perfect circle. But if you change the view of the cup slightly by moving it above or below your eye level, the circle becomes distorted, foreshortened or seen in perspective.
